Dear Keith, Colin, Shane, Lonnie & Cliff,

I am still in shock and overwhelmed by the log structure that is now sitting on our land. Having dreamed a lifetime, I was not prepared for the reality of such a beautiful thing. The creative touches, artistic style and character log accents that I had hoped for – but had no specific idea for – make our new home unique to us and drop dead gorgeous! We designed an open floor plan but did not want to lose that feeling of comfort. Your log builders created just what we wanted for our “last ever” home.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Lonnie & Cliff. They worked hard without breaks for hours and hours – one day 12 hours, and another over 13 hours. They came in with a smile and left with a smile, which had to be tough after putting up with us and all of our friends & family hanging around, trying to “help” and probably mostly in the way! When there were problems, they tackled it and fixed it; they kept the building going from dawn to dusk. I can’t believe they could keep such great attitudes and still work so hard. They were a great addition to our log-raising experience and we will always remember them fondly!

In all the excitement, I don’t think I really told Cliff how much we appreciated the name plaque and lovely waxed wood serving bowl. We brought them both back to the old house to use and keep safe - until we can mount the plaque.

Thank you for keeping the delivery “on time.” We planned our date a year ago and somehow everything came together as planned – we had to rush at the end because of some sub-contractor delays, and you were probably to the wire on time as well. The on-time delivery is just another plus in our experience with CMLH.

We will send a photo or two when we finish the exterior and please feel free to stop by ANY time to see the house.
