requires a substantial fountation, filled and methodically compacted
with sand. |

Foundation is laid out and Forms are setup
- plan for all future gas, electric and plumbing lines. This
stage is very important, as you don't get a second chance
to place lines, once the concrete is poured |

| After the concrete cures, forms are removed,
foundation walls are painted with damp proofing. Laying drain
pipes at footing level is necessary prior to backfilling |

| With perimeter drains in place, backfilling
begins |

| Backfilling and now compacting the substantial
foundation allows for a stable, solid building support, even
on this steep sloped property. |

| With the foundation and access
points for all services to the home now in place, and well
compacted backfill supporting and filling the foundation,
we're ready to begin framing the 'above ground basement' ...
